2.1 General Description
The plant must have four distinct sections that demonstrate three principles of turbulence, residence time and temperature retention. The controlled sections may contain but not Limited to:
B) Ensure secondary air supply is controlled.
D) Ensure that the gas temperature measured against the inside wall in the secondary chamber and not in the fire zone is not less than 1100 degrees centigrade.
3. Assessment and preparation and construction of a normal incinerator drop with one waste storage space ( see the design )
4. Provision of operation and maintenance manuals and drawings complete with maintenance program and instructions. Fuel oil storage tank- Mild steel1500 liters capacity
6. Onsite training for operation and maintenance employees.
IMPORTANT
9. Ought to have a complete width counterbalance loading door allowing easy access to the main chamber for loading and removing ash.
E) A strong particulate meter/recorder should be provided.
F) Ensure both primary and secondary combustion temperatures are maintained until all waste is totally combusted. The particulate collectors may comprise any of the following or a combination thereof:
6. The stack/chimney.
O) The purpose for measurement of emissions will be provided.
2.7 Instrumentation
a) Instrument for determining the interior wall temperature and not burner flame temperature must be provided for both primary and secondary chambers.
2.3 Main Combustion Chamber.
a) This chamber should be outfitted with burners using low sulphur gas.
B) An audible and visible alarm must be set up to warn the operator once the secondary chamber temperature falls to below the specified temperature.
M ) The chimney should be visible to the operator from the feeding place.
E) All the emission to the atmosphere aside from steam or water vapour must be odourless and totally free of mist, fume and droplets.
B) The chamber should ensure a minimal exit temperature of 850 degrees centigrade.
D) Opacity of this smoke shouldn’t exceed 20% seen by 50 yards with naked eyes.
2. Feed chamber/charging
2. Provision for adherence to OSHA and other statutory requirement relating to Health and Safety of employees during execution of the works covered in this tender.
F) Any other instrument which may be considered necessary.
2.9 Emission Limits
a) Combustion efficiency (C.E) shall be 99.00percent at which C.E =%Carbon dioxide x 100 / [% Carbon dioxide + carbon dioxide ]
b) Electrostatic precipitators
1. Overall plant layout
Capacity/island: 4000 kg/day; 25000 kg/day; 31000 kg/day; 48000 kg/day
Burning temperature — more than 12000C
Two chambers — minimal
Emissions — dioxin and heavy metaly — better afterward Kyoto protocol
Emission — tracking method
Waste unloiding — straight from squander monitor to incinerator
d) A smoke density meter/recorder should be provided.
5.
C ) The secondary chamber gas residence time will probably be 1 second at 1050 +/- 50 degrees centigrade with 3% oxygen in the stack gas.
7. Minimum capacity of primary chamber = 0.18 cubic metres
a) Cyclone separator

2.2 Feeding and Fixing
3. Main combustion chamber
C ) Ensure residence time is not less than two seconds.
4. Particulate scrubbers
Controlled hygienic mechanical feeding that does not negatively influence the atmosphere temperature in the primary and secondary chambers of the incinerator will be used.
G) The average dioxin and furan concentration in the emission should not exceed 80mg/m3 total dioxins and furans if quantified for an interval of 6 to 16 hours.
– Manual technical monitoring is shipped with the hardware together with explanations of failures and settlements
8. Burn speed (speed of waste incineration) = at least 20 kg each hour
1.
C ) Fabric filters
2.6 Chimney/Stack
l) The chimney should have a minimum height of 10 metres above ground level and clear the maximum point of the building by not less than 3 metres for all roofs. The topography and height of adjacent buildings within 50 metres radius should be taken into account.
E) Ensure the emitted oxygen content of the emitted gases is not less than 11%
N ) The minimum exit rate should be 10 metres per second and at least two times the encompassing wind speed (Efflux velocity = wind speed x 2) whichever is higher to ensure no down washing of leaving gases.
1.
Burning temperature – over 12000C
Two chambers – minimum
Emissions – dioxin and heavy metaly – better then Kyoto protocol
Emission – monitoring system
Waste unloiding – directly from waste track to incinerator
